There are three types of Scheme for giving the Social Security to the Unorganised Workers
SASPFUW
The State Assisted Scheme of Provident Fund for Un-organised Workers (SASPFUW) was introduced by the Govt. of West Bengal,
With a view to provide Social Security in the form of Provident Fund to the workers in the Un-organized Sector, the Government of West Bengal introduced a Scheme named "The State Assisted Scheme of Provident Fund for Un-organised Workers"(SASPFUW) with effect from 01-01-01. The Scheme was initially introduced covering 13 Industries & 8 Self employment occupations

BOCWA
The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 applies to every establishment which employs or had employed on any day of the preceding twelve months, ten or more building workers in any building or other construction work. Every “building worker” (as defined under the Act), who has completed 18 years of age but has completed 60 years of age and who has been engaged in any building or other construction work for not less than 90 days during the preceding twelve months shall be eligible for registration as a beneficiary under the Board
Transport
The Transport Workers Social Security Scheme
Every “Transport worker” (includes a driver, conductor, cleaner station staff, line-checking staff, booking clerk, cash clerk, deport clerk, time keeper, watchman or attendant. ), who has completed 18 years of age but not exceeded 60 years of age and who has been engaged in Transport related work (mentioned above) shall be eligible for registration as a beneficiary under the Board. He shall submit application form to the respective Registering Officer of the nearest Regional Labour Office along with a one time registration fee of Rs.30/-. He / she in turn will be issued an identity card
